Upgrade

So here Sophia is in her new "ride". We actually had to upgrade her car seat since she has gotten so big and had begun to outgrow her infant seat. Of course Daddy picked out the one that was pink with flowers for his little girl. Developmental milestones for our little one: her hand-eye-mouth coordination is superb. She now rolls completely both ways: tummy to back & back to tummy. She's able to sit with minimal support, of course every now and then she slumps off to the side. And she's got her "mamama", "babababa", and "dadadada" consonants down. Sometimes it sounds like she's saying mama or dada--of course she doesn't associate words yet. Sophia is getting rice cereal twice a day now. She's doing really well and now opens her mouth when she see's the spoon coming. She does this thing where she blows on the spoon and cereal flies everywhere. She cracks up everytime because the first few times it happened we were laughing so hard that she thinks its funny too. It really gets messy and sticky after every meal. Cereal all over her face, neck, hands, arms, hair....I've decided to make most of her babyfood from fresh produce and fruits, so Saturday, I will be making acorn squash for her first veggie. I definately can't wait to see her face when she tries that.
