In the last several weeks, Sophia has had a language EXPLOSION! She seems to say 2-3 new words a day! I'm not even sure how many words she verbalizes now....we've lost count. It's quite amazing how much she already knows. I can say that communicating with her is a lot less frustrating since she now tells us what she wants and doesn't want. Our big thing is trying to teach her to say "please" instead of just telling us commands. She still gets so frustrated and worked up, throwing little temper tantrums because we don't do what she wants till she says please. I think she's catching on though. She will say "down please" or "cup please". She seems to be very bright because she doesn't just say words, she seems to understand concepts and the meanings of each word :). Must take after Daddy. She is our little starshine!
Some words she says: Hi, Bye-bye, Nap, Night-night, Mama, Daddy, Baby, Me, Dog, Apollo, Bow-wow-wow, Woof, Nose, Toes, Diaper, Elmo, Brush, Teeth, Button, Balloon, Bunny, Ball, Banana, Bread, Butterfly, Bug, Cheese, Car, Cat, Cup, Hot, Cold, Cow, Moo, Door, Up, Down, High, Low, Please, Tree, Fan, Light, Lion, Outside, Close, Clap, Tap, Duck, Quack-quack, Doll, Bear, Keys, Phone, Shoes, Love, Go, Bang, Tub, Bubbles, Water (wa-wa), Drum, Sheep, Baaaa, Monkey, Donkey, Fish, Go, Stop, Slow, Done, More, Cheerio, Pear, Rice....
