Update

Today was the FIRST day Sophia said "I LOVE YOU!". She actually told Daddy on the phone since he is away in Miami for a few days. He was ecstatic when she said those words to him. Before she would only say " I Love, I Love...." and today she decided to add the "You". It was sweet. She's started putting 2-3 words together when she talks. She practices talking a lot. It's really neat to see how fast she's learning. She really is like a little parrot. Lately her 2 favorite words to say are "BRAVO" and "THANK YOU" (although her thank you sounds more like "thuck-koo). She will say "Bravo" after just about anything she does when she knows she's done a good job. It's really cute. So, Sophia's already cut her 15th & 16th tooth. She's only got 8 more to go before she has her full set of baby teeth. She's been on kind of a food strike the last few weeks ever since she had strep. It always seems like such a battle to feed her. These days she's not into much of anything except her cup of milk. Thank goodness she is off the antibiotics. She had major diarrhea from it and had several blowouts- no fun for mommy. The antibiotics also seemed to flare up her eczema. We ended up having to use some topical steroid Rx cream on her, it was so bad. But her GI system is slowly returning back to normal and her skin looks better. Not sure if the strep has fully gone away because she's been coughing a lot today and has had a runny nose the last several days. Hmmmm..... As for her broken finger, it's looking a lot better.... less swollen and not so bruised. We go in for her 15 month appointment in a few weeks. Lots to look forward to!
