My First Dental Checkup

Sophia went in for her very first comprehensive dental exam today. She did great! Hopped right into the dentist chair and was showing her dentist all her teeth! It was too cute watching her say "AHHHH" and trying her hardest to open her mouth wide. She didn't even mind when the dental pick was in her mouth. I think it was a great first experience for her. They were really impressed at how well Sophia took directions and they did such a great job with her. They made her feel comfortable and made it an overall fun experience. She was rewarded with Dora stickers, a red balloon, a token to get something from the toy machine, and ICE CREAM! What a treat! On the way home Sophia told me "I want to go to the dentist more". The dentist said that her teeth look great so far and all her teeth are aligned just as they should be. What's not to smile about that?
