What's New

So here I am at 17 weeks. Feeling great so far! The belly is noticeably getting bigger week by week, so I know baby is getting bigger. I felt the baby kick for the first time last Friday and since I have been feeling lots of little kicks here & there. I started going back to the gym in my 2nd trimester and have been working out twice a week with Tracy, my personal trainer. Going back to the gym has really helped me to feel stronger and more balanced. She has personally tailored a workout regime for me to help me work on my balance and strength in preparation for the delivery. I am scheduled for my next prenatal exam on the 27th and am hoping to find out if we are having a boy or girl!

Sophia is doing great in pre-school! She is thriving and loving every minute of school. I love picking her up from school and seeing her face when she runs into my arms screaming in excitement and
telling me about her day. She adores her teacher Miss Jeni and her classmates, Hudson, Zoey, Hayley, Deuce, Braydon, & Sarah. Sophia has started to sound out words and is already able to read a few words on her own by sounding out the letters. It's pretty neat to see. She's even been learning to write her letters and numbers. A lot of it is tracing but she does a good job. Sending Sophia to pre-school was one of the best decisions we have made and her confidence continues to grow.

If you haven't heard the news we are in the works of becoming first time homeowners. We went under contract on our dream home April 16th and just had our home inspection done. Awaiting appraisal and survey by the bank and our final walk-through before closing. It is a very exciting time for us! Can't wait to decorate this beautiful home and really make it our own.
